Sydney Institute of Marine Science:
The Storm Squad

Seagrass meadows are one of the most productive ecosystems on the planet.
These aquatic plants supply us with oxygen and act as carbon sinkholes, whilst providing a home for hundreds of marine species.

Unfortunately, seagrass is under threat. In NSW, a species called Posidonia is under pressure from boating activities. However, a team of incredible scientists - under the banner of ‘Operation Posidonia - have a solution to help restore this species.

We worked with Operation Posidonia to create a short video and a suite of imagery to engage the local community with the project.
