As part of their ‘How to Travel Better’ series, Marriott Bonvoy Traveler wanted to develop an interactive multimedia article focusing on the positive impact of tourism on Australia’s Great Barrier Reef.

Getty Images approached us on behalf of Marriott Bonvoy to organise and execute the shoot. We worked with local operators to organise a trip to a remote, rarely visited part of the Great Barrier Reef. We travelled to Cairns to interview local conservationists on camera.

We delivered a suite of underwater photographs, including landscapes of the beautiful Wheeler Reef and environmental portraits of conservationists in action. We provided stunning aerial footage of the Great Barrier Reef, interviews with talent and underwater and topside b-roll of the Reef and conservationists.

View the interactive article on the Marriott Bonvoy Traveler website.
